So far we have had phenomenal support from our families, friends and our local community. Since Finnbar passed away in August last year, we have received over £20000 in donations, mainly from sponsored events. We’ve had many people come to us with some super ideas and we are now starting to receive the backing of local businesses, with a couple making us their ‘charity of the year’. We really are very grateful for the support we have gained so far and would very much like to keep up this fantastic level of fundraising – and go even further – as some of our aims will require a high level of funding.
You can support us by running your own event, helping at one of ours as a stallholder or volunteer, participating in a sponsored event on our behalf, or by making a donation to us. We also gratefully receive donations of equipment, tombola/raffle prizes and cakes for our events!

Donations are now simple – we have an online donation platform at Total Giving.
This site allows people to make one-off or regular donations via card, paypal or direct debit and also allows those raising money through sponsored events to connect their event to our page and raise money separately. We can claim gift aid for all donations via this method. We are charged a small fee (around 1.5%) per transaction, by the card handlers.
We also accept cheques made payable to ‘Finnbar’s Force’ (please contact us for address) and we can provide details for direct bank transfers.
